This recognition is incredibly special to us because it reflects the things we care most about: our community, our creativity, and our people.
Community Champion
At Pest2Kill, we have always believed in giving back to the neighbourhoods that support us. From sponsoring grassroots sports teams to supporting local schools with fundraising initiatives, community connection has been part of our DNA from day one.
A highlight for us has been Julian Bracewell, our Co-Founder and CRO, personally raising more than $14,000 for the Children’s Cancer Institute through the CEO Dare to Cure. Whether it’s facing his fear of snakes or taking on the 7-metre Dare Devil Stunt Jump, Julian has shown just how much giving back means to our team.
Marketing Award
Pest control is not the kind of industry you’d expect to see in the marketing spotlight, but we have never been interested in doing things the same old way. By bringing humour, creativity, and a people-first approach to our campaigns, we have managed to make pest control engaging and memorable.
Our “Racing Roaches” roadshow has become a signature activation, appearing at community fun runs, fetes and walkathons, and even making multiple appearances on Australian television. This campaign has not only entertained crowds but also helped us stand out in a traditionally serious industry, proving that even pest control can spark smiles.
People Power
Our biggest strength will always be our team. From the technicians out in the field, to the office staff who keep everything running smoothly, to our management team leading the way, Pest2Kill is built on the passion and dedication of our people. This award category is especially meaningful because it celebrates the culture we have worked hard to create: one where every team member feels valued, supported, and proud of the work they do.
