Safe Pest Control for Young Children

We look after a number of schools and educational centres for a variety of their pest control needs, including general pest services (cockroaches, spiders etc), rodent control, bird control, and wasp nest removal. Our ongoing client list in this space includes Reddam House School in Woollahra, Mosman Public School and Surry Hills Early Learning Centre, just to name a few. We are familiar with the specific requirements of managing pests and utilising pesticides in sensitive environments such as schools and childcare centres, and we have extensive experience in developing pest management plans that are compliant with current regulations and protect members of the community from frequenting these areas.

We have experience in both bird removal and prevention and wasp nest removal in school settings. At Reddam House School, we initiated a bird control plan that involved the safe installation of bird spiking and netting in specific areas of the school, where birds were roosting and nesting. The plan was successful in eliminating the school’s bird issue long-term. At Mosman Public School, we recently removed a wasp nest from a tree in the school playground area. The service was scheduled outside of school hours and in line with the school’s safety standards.
